Suggested Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Siliguri/Bagdogra
Arrive at Siliguri Railway Station or at Bagdogra Airport and transfer to Gangtok. Arrive & transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake
After breakfast, set out on a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake. Also, drive to a holy site – Baba Mandir and return to hotel. Overnight at Stay at Gangtok.
Optional Tours - Visit the Indo-China Boarder – Nathu La Pass, which is subject to permit at additional cost. (it remains closed on Mondays & Tuesdays)
Day 3: Transfer to Pelling
After breakfast, transfer to Pelling. On the way, visit Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse and Siddeshwar Dham Namchi. Arrive at Pelling & check into your hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 4: Pelling Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Darap Village, Rimbi Waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha Waterfalls. In the afternoon, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins and the New Helipad Ground. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 5: Transfer to Darjeeling
After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling. Arrive & check into your hotel. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 6: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning, head to Tiger Hill and view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back, visit Ghum Monastery, Batasia Loop. Return to hotel for breakfast. Then, set out to visit Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing & Gombu Rock and Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre. Also, enjoy the panoramic view of Tea Estate. Ride the Darjeeling Ropeway at own cost (INR 200 per person). Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Siliguri Railway Station or at Bagdogra Airport for your onward flight.
