After breakfast at your hotel, begin your tour of old Riyadh, starting in the downtown area with a visit to the traditional Dirah Souq, famous for antique carpets and other Saudi heritage items. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010, Ad-Diriyah showcases the finest example of Najdi architecture. With a history spanning thousands of years, Ad-Diriyah was a key stop on ancient trade and pilgrimage routes connecting Asia, Africa, and Europe. Admire its incredible architecture before returning to downtown Riyadh. As you drive back, observe the rapid development of this cosmopolitan capital, planned to become the largest metropolis in the Middle East within the next decade. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Riyadh.
