Welcome to the Scottish side of Europe, Edinburgh. It has an old medieval touch to it that gives it a look of fascination. The city literally looks like it has been stopped in time. The city is home to Neo classical buildings, Scotland’s crown jewels, and the Stone of Destiny mainly used for the coronation of the rulers of Scotland’s rulers. Home to ancient castles and modern universities, Edinburgh is worth the visit. Summer (May–Aug) is mild to warm and the peak travel time. In winter (Dec–Feb), days are short, cold and rainy.
