Today, we will explore the historic heart of Jeddah. Our guided tour begins in the Old Jeddah district, where you'll discover the captivating stories of this vibrant city. Enjoy a leisurely walk through Al-Balad, the historic center of Jeddah, and uncover its hidden gems. Our tour will include visits to the lesser-known local spots, including the old markets, hidden galleries, and authentic local eateries. Highlights of the day include Beit Nassif, a prominent five-story building dating back to the mid-1800s that beautifully blends traditional architecture with modern elements. We will also explore the Baghdadi House, the Old Gold Market on Gabel Street, and the Ukash Mosque. We will conclude the day with a drive along the Jeddah Corniche, a 30 km coastal resort area featuring scenic promenades, recreational areas, and the impressive King Fahd's Fountain, the tallest fountain in the world. After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Taif. Our journey will take us through the city's downtown and into the majestic landscapes of the Al Hatta Mountains. En route, visit a rose farm and a perfume factory. We will also stop to see Al-Kaki Palace before continuing to the scenic mountains of Taif, located above Mecca and on the eastern slopes of the Al Sarawat Mountains. Enjoy a traditional meal at a local restaurant and take in the cool, green scenery of Taif, a popular summer retreat for Saudis and GCC residents. Visit the Jebel Daka Mountain and the Al Shafa Mountain viewpoint for stunning panoramic views. Observe the old stone paths and the cable car from Al Hada as we make our way back to Jeddah. After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Riyadh Airport for your onward flight or journey home.
